The girl who stares at dreams

(hopefully not anymore)

Been brimming with emotions and now that its almost over I dont know what to do with them.
i've learnt so much and the prices paid for certain mistakes were really expensive (both literally and figuratively), but i'm glad i'm the eternal optimist.i managed to put the tragic past behind me.

i thought 'THIS IS IT'. the ultimate do or die situation that will make or break your future, but i'm glad i realised otherwise.
I'm positively grateful that i have a family that cushions my every fall, trip and helps me to put things in the right perspective. when you have parents who tell you that they'll do all they can to send you anywhere to receieve tertiary education( cos u cant make it to the local BIG 3), you'll feel like the most blessed child in the world too. Its like they redefine unconditional love.

this is just the beginning. come what may.
after the great-depression period (of cancelling appointments, paying a high price for my irrational behaviour), i feel like i have all the strength in the world to face anything in life. HAHA (not like i've been through real trauma, but this is definitely the toughest and most painful decision ever)
As usual, no one knew about it except my parents.

Anyway, i read some real good articles over this period and the most thought-provoking quote that struck me was
learn to see the ugliness of prejudice and the beauty of acceptance.
not tolerance but accpetance, for there is a difference.

And hence, I've decided how I'm gonna live my life based on my values (:
